Meet your Programme Director
Manuel P. Nappo is the Director of the NZZ Academy and leads executive programmes that provide decision-makers in the DACH region with insights into geopolitical, technological, societal, and economic trends. Additionally, he serves as an independent board member.
As a pioneer in the digital field, Manuel P. Nappo founded and led the Institute of Digital Business from 2011 to 2024, as well as the Master of Advanced Studies in Digital Business and the Executive EMBA in Digital Leadership at the HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Zurich.
As a recognized keynote speaker and editorial contributor, Manuel P. Nappo has helped shape forward-looking strategies at several companies. For his contributions, he was named "Digital Pioneer of the Year" by the IAB in 2013, and in 2015, he was voted "Thought Leader of the Year" by readers of the Marketing & Communication magazine.
Manuel P. Nappo holds a Master's degree in International Management from the University of St. Gallen and is an alumnus of Singularity University and INSEAD.
